Art Düsseldorf 2025 Announces Curated Sections and Japan Focus

Art Düsseldorf 2025 is set to take place from April 11 to 13 at Areal Böhler, featuring a specially curated program that includes new sections. Among these is PAPER, which will highlight six galleries within the Kaltstahlhalle. Julia Meyer-Brehm, who has been involved with Monopol and Deutschlandfunk Kultur since 2018 and has been at the Kunstgewerbe museum Berlin since 2024, will curate Sculpture Spots, showcasing large-scale sculptures. Continuing its emphasis on Japan, Yoko Nose will curate an anonymous project that includes contemporary artists such as Norimichi Hirakawa and Hiraku Suzuki. The Solo and Projects section will comprise 16 galleries, focusing on themes like Liminal State and Love is the Answer, under the curation of Linda Peitz, known for her recent projects.
