Art Dubai 2025 Announces Expanded Programme with New Commissions and Partnerships
Art Dubai 2025, taking place at Madinat Jumeirah and supported by A.R.M. Holding alongside Dubai Culture, will showcase over 120 exhibitors alongside a dynamic lineup of commissions, educational programs, and discussions. Under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the fair will launch a multi-year co-commissioning collaboration with Alserkal Avenue, featuring performances and site-specific works by Mexican artist Héctor Zamora. Emirati artist Mohammed Kazem will unveil a digital commission backed by Julius Baer, celebrating the wealth manager's decade-long association with the event. Kuwaiti artist Alymamah Rashed will also present a new commission for Piaget. The Global Art Forum, themed 'The New New Normal' and curated by Y7, will include notable speakers such as Rem Koolhaas and Lawrence Abu Hamdan. Additionally, the second Digital Summit, curated by Gonzalo Herrero Delicado, will delve into 'After the Technological Sublime.' The A.R.M. Holding Children's Programme, now in its fifth iteration, will feature a collaboration between Peju Alatise and Alia Hussain Lootah, while new commissions will include digital pieces from Ouchhh Studio, Breakfast, Jacopo Di Cera, and Hybrid Xperience, along with installations by Ania Soliman and Total Arts at the Courtyard.
