Art Defender and CPG Art Advisory Join Forces for Art Collection Services

Art Defender, a leader in conservation, consulting, insurance, and logistics, has partnered with CPG Art Advisory, founded in 2017 by Clarice Pecori Giraldi, to offer comprehensive services for art collections. The collaboration aims to provide tailored solutions for private individuals, foundations, banks, and companies, addressing both material preservation and economic management. Art Defender, founded by Alvise di Canossa, operates a network of high-security vaults and refrigerated cells for photographic archives, as well as spaces for vintage cars and fine wine storage. The partnership responds to a growing market trend where 65% of collectors still buy primarily for passion, but demand for investment advice and estate planning is rising. Pecori Giraldi, with over 30 years of experience including roles as Managing Director of Christie's Italia and Director for Private Sales at Christie's Europe, as well as Regional Director at Phillips, serves on the board of Fondazione San Patrignano, Italy's first endowment-based philanthropic model.
