Art Days Napoli e Campania: First Art Week Unites 46 Venues Across Region

The first edition of Art Days – Napoli e Campania will take place from December 16 to 19, 2021, bringing together 46 entities across Campania, including 35 in Naples. The initiative, launched by Associazione Attiva Cultural Projects founded by Letizia Mari, Raffaella Ferraro, and Martina Campese, aims to create a network among cultural realities in the region. Participating galleries include Lia Rumma, Alfonso Artiaco, and Umberto Di Marino, with support from institutions like Museo Madre and Casa Morra. The event received the Matronato of Fondazione Donnaregina per le arti contemporanee, offering reduced entry on December 17-19. The program features openings and inaugurations of galleries and independent spaces, with Museo Madre offering reduced tickets and Casa Morra exceptionally opening its archives. The event concludes with an artistic intervention by Veronica Bisesti at the archaeological site of Ex Macellum – Tempio di Serapide in Pozzuoli. The organizers met while studying at Ca' Foscari in Venice and later reunited in Naples. Early supporters included Umberto di Marino, Giuseppe Compare, and Giorgio Marrocco. The initiative expanded from a Naples-only focus to include the entire region after encouragement from gallerists. The schedule: December 16 in Caserta, Benevento, Salerno, and Sorrento; December 17 in Naples' historic center; December 18 in Naples' Chiaia district; December 19 in the Naples province.
