Art Central 2026 appoints Enoch Cheng and Zoie Yung as curators for Hong Kong edition
Art Central has selected Enoch Cheng and Zoie Yung to curate its upcoming 11th edition, scheduled for March 25–29, 2026, at Hong Kong's Central Harbourfront. Cheng, who was named the 2025 Hong Kong Arts Development Awards Artist of the Year (Visual Arts), will return for his third time to manage gallery programs. Yung, previously the exhibition manager at Chi K11 Art Museum in Shanghai, will oversee creative programming. Corey Andrew Barr, the fair director, emphasized Art Central's importance for emerging artistic voices. Additionally, Angus Montgomery Arts introduced its Artist Award, with Umar Rashid as the first winner. Gajah Gallery opened a new exhibition in Manila curated by Joyce Toh. Ctrl+P Journal released its inaugural edition, and Ryoichi Kurokawa received the 2025 Richard Mille Art Prize. Art Basel Qatar revealed nine Special Projects for February 2026.
