Art Brussels 2026 radically reinvents with smaller scale, new sections, and enhanced collector experience
The 42nd edition of Art Brussels in 2026 will undergo significant changes following unsatisfactory outcomes in 2025, with the number of galleries decreasing by 18% to 136 exhibitors to prioritize quality. A new artistic advisory office will assist attendees, and the event will be centralized in Hall 5, while Hall 6 will showcase the 'Horizons' section, curated by Devrim Bayar, featuring large-scale pieces from five artists, including Ymen Berhouma from Tunisia. The historical segment '68 Forward' will display twelve projects from 1968 to 2000, featuring Franco Angeli. Curatorial focus will highlight monographic presentations, including Laís Amaral, while the 'Discovery' section will present 38 booths for up-and-coming artists like Jagdeep Raina and Euridice Zaituna Kala. The revamped layout aims to minimize visual fatigue and foster meaningful interactions.
