Art Brussels 2024: 40th Edition Brings 176 Galleries to Brussels Expo
Art Brussels celebrates its 40th edition from April 25 to 28, 2024, at Brussels Expo's Halls 5 and 6, an Art Deco venue built for the 1935 Brussels International Exposition. The fair presents 176 galleries across four sections: PRIME (119), DISCOVERY (37), REDISCOVERY (11), and INVITED (9), plus a SOLO sub-section with 28 presentations. International participants include Almine Rech, Gladstone, Mendes Wood DM, and MASSIMODECARLO. Newcomers such as Air de Paris, Harper's, and Mai 36 Galerie join. Belgian galleries like Baronian, Xavier Hufkens, and Tim Van Laere Gallery return. The fair debuts an outdoor sculpture project supported by the City of Brussels, with a jury selecting the artist. Managing Director Nele Verhaeren highlights a 60% returning gallery rate, prizes for gallerists and artists, and a nostalgic flashback area. Partners Delen Private Bank and Bank Van Breda continue support.
