Art Brussels 2016: From Discovery to Rediscovery at Tour & Taxis

The 34th edition of Art Brussels is set to take place from April 22 to 24, 2016, at the Tour & Taxis venue, under the curation of Katerina Gregos. This year’s fair includes 141 galleries representing 28 nations, emphasizing quality. It features various sections such as Prime, Discovery—now expanded to eight years—and the newly introduced Rediscovery, which will showcase artists like Bruno Munari. The Solo section highlights talents like Marinella Senatore and Pier Paolo Calzolari. Awards include a €5,000 Discovery Prize and a €10,000 Solo Prize. Additionally, twelve sculptures will be displayed in Out of the Booth, including an installation by Rafaël Rozendaal. Meanwhile, the Independent fair will occur from April 21 to 23 at Vanderborght, featuring 60 galleries and exhibitions by Claudio Parmiggiani and Santiago Reyes Villaveces.
