festival-fair · 2026-04-23

The late-season art calendar is marked by Art Brussels, taking place from April 28 to May 1. Among the significant exhibitions is David Claerbout's retrospective at Wiels, titled The Time That Remains, which runs until May 15. Additionally, Luc Tuymans is showcasing his first retrospective at Palais des Beaux-Arts until May 8. New exhibitions include works by Jordi Colomer, open until June 12, and Lionel Estève at La Verrière Hermès, available until July 2. The Jewish Museum features "After Image," curated by Fionn Meade, showcasing artists like John Baldessari and Louise Lawler. Brussels Gallery Night is set for April 29, while uncertainty surrounds Walloon institutions and the Royal Museums of Fine Arts, which are renovating 19th- and 20th-century galleries. The reconfiguration of the Vanhaerents collection, titled "Sympathy for the Devil," is eagerly awaited.
