festival-fair · 2026-04-22

From December 3 to December 6, 2015, the Miami Beach Convention Center hosted Art Basel/Miami Beach, which included 267 galleries from 32 nations, transforming into a larger arts festival. A standout exhibition was Anselm Kiefer's significant display at The Margulies Collection, featuring the 50,000-pound installation Geheimnis der Farne. At Pérez Art Museum Miami, Ryan McNamara presented a multimedia performance across eight stages, alongside works from nine Aboriginal artists from West Australia. Key exhibitions included LAX – MIA: Light + Space at The Surf Club and Made in California at MANA. Cuban art was prominently featured with Gustavo Pérez Monzón's inaugural U.S. exhibition at CIFO. Design Miami showcased a dining pavilion designed by Zaha Hadid and Patrick Schumacher, while a stabbing was mistakenly perceived as performance art.
