Art Basel Hong Kong 2021 has been postponed from March to May 21–23 (with previews on May 19–20) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The decision was made in consultation with galleries, collectors, and partners to maximize participation while ensuring health and safety. Adeline Ooi, Director Asia of Art Basel, stated that moving the fair to May is the right decision given travel restrictions. Meanwhile, Art Basel Miami Beach will be held digitally from December 4–6 as OVR: Miami Beach, featuring 255 galleries from 30 countries and approximately 2,500 works from 1900 to present.
