Art Basel Hong Kong 2019: 242 Galleries from 35 Countries

The seventh edition of Art Basel Hong Kong is set to take place from March 28 to 31 at the Convention and Exhibition Centre, preceded by a VIP preview on March 27. This year, the fair showcases 242 galleries from 35 different countries, with 21 of them participating for the first time. More than half of the exhibitors hail from Asia. Seven galleries, such as ROH Projects and Tang Contemporary Art, will be featured in the Main section, which comprises 196 galleries displaying diverse art forms. Highlights include solo exhibitions of Wu Da-Yu at Lin & Lin Gallery, a focus on Tishan Hsu in the Insights section, and 21 curated exhibitions in the Kabinett section. Additionally, the Film section presents 27 works, and the Conversations program includes 22 discussions.
