Art Basel 2025 Announces 289 Galleries and New Premiere Sector
Art Basel 2025 in Basel will feature 289 galleries from 42 countries, with a new Premiere sector for recent works. The fair runs June 2025, directed by Maike Cruse. Parcours, curated by Stefanie Hessler, explores 'Second Nature' along Clarastrasse. Katharina Grosse will create a spray-painted installation on Messeplatz, curated by Natalia Grabowska. Unlimited, curated by Giovanni Carmine, will present 70 monumental works. The Baloise Art Prize (CHF 30,000 each) will be awarded to up to two Statements artists. 18 new galleries debut, including Arcadia Missa (London) and François Ghebaly (Los Angeles, New York).
