Art Basel 2018: 71 Artists Announced for Unlimited Section
Art Basel has revealed the 71 artists participating in its Unlimited section for the 2018 event, taking place from June 14 to 17 in Basel, under the curation of Gianni Jetzer. This section is dedicated to large-scale works, such as installations, sculptures, and performances. Among the prominent artists featured are Ai Weiwei, Yoko Ono, Francis Alÿs, Daniel Buren, and Alfredo Jaar. Located in Hall 1 of Messe Basel, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, the edition will commence with Daniel Buren's piece, Una cosa tira l'altra. Other highlights include contributions from Polly Apfelbaum, Rashid Johnson, Katherine Bernhardt, and Nedko Solakov. Notable Italian artists include Rodolfo Aricò, Robert Barry, McArthur Binion, Olivier Mosset, Andra Ursuta, José Yaque, and Lara Favaretto.
