Art Basel 2015 Showcases Works by Vanessa Safavi, Haroon Mirza, and Others in Zurich Exhibitions

Art Basel 2015 featured numerous contemporary artworks across multiple venues in Zurich. Vanessa Safavi presented 'Out of the Map: Each Color Is a Gift for You' (2015) at the Swiss Art Awards exhibition in Hall 4, Messeplatz. Haroon Mirza's 'Bitbang Mirror' (2015) was installed at Museum Tinguely. At LISTE, KOW space displayed Hito Steyerl's 'Strike' (2010), with founding directors Nikolaus Oberhuber and Alexander Koch present. Hannah Perry's 'Smoke Machine' (2015) appeared in Jeanine Hofland's LISTE space, while Neil Beloufa's 'Scaffolding Series' (2015) was shown by Balice Hertling. Art Basel | Unlimited included Diango Hernández's 'Words to Sea' (2015), Ed-Atkins's 'Happy Birthday!!!' (2015), Gianni Colombo's 'Architettura cacogoniometrica. Ambiente' (1984), Günther Uecker's 'Sandmühle (Sand Mill)' (conceived 1969, created 2014), Héctor Zamora's 'OG 107 Scenery' (2012), Jakub Julian Ziólkowski's 'Imagorea' (2014), Kenneth Anger's 'Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome' (1954–2014), Maha Malluh's 'Food for Thought Almuallaqat' (2014), Ryan McGinley's 'YEARBOOK' (2014), and Tal-R's 'GARBAGE MAN' (1993–2013).
