Art Basel 2015 Showcases Installations by Tiravanija, Kwade, Kjartansson, Steegmann Mangrané, and Holt

At Art Basel 2015, Rirkrit Tiravanija presented his interactive installation Do We Dream Under The Same Sky (2015) outside the exhibition hall, featuring cooking, eating, and washing-up activities. Johann König's Berlin booth displayed a three-meter framed board by Alicja Kwade with tiny watch hands exploring time and mortality. Ragnar Kjartansson exhibited four new paintings at i8 Gallery, Reykjavik, depicting mechanic Bjarni Bummer listening to The Eagles' Take it Easy. Daniel Steegmann Mangrané's installation at Mendes Wood DM, São Paulo, covered the booth floor with dark and white stones, their division blurred by fairgoers' footsteps, with sticks and rocks suspended from the ceiling. Parra and Romero's Madrid/Ibiza booth featured two 1968 works by Nancy Holt documenting Joan Jonas climbing rocky terrain in Over the Hill (Joan Jonas) and Down Hill (Joan Jonas).
