festival-fair · 2026-05-04

The third edition of the art+b=love(?) festival will take place from May 16 to 19 at La Mole in Ancona, Italy. Curated by Cesare Biasini Selvaggi and Federico Bomba, the event is organized by Sineglossa creative ground with support from Regione Marche and Comune di Ancona, in collaboration with Fondazione Selina Azzoaglio and La Mole. The festival's theme, "L'imprevisto come opportunità di scoperta" (The unexpected as an opportunity for discovery), emphasizes art's role in innovating science, business, and society. The program includes a video installation by Sonia Andresano, a talk on art and science featuring artist Luca Pozzi, and exhibitions by Salvatore Iaconesi and Oriana Persico of AOS – Art is Open Source, Samir Sayed, Samson Young, Byo Rhu, and Andreas Angelidakis. A collective show explores the relationship between visual arts and artificial intelligence. The festival will also screen Roberto Rossellini's documentary "Scienza." Selvaggi stated that the festival promotes an active, integrated role for artists in national innovation systems, urging businesses to see the unexpected as an opportunity. Admission is free except for certain paid events.
