Art and Theatre Delivery Projects from Italy to Denmark

During pandemic closures, five Italian and Danish collectives have developed alternative art and theatre delivery services, bringing performances to doorsteps and artworks to homes. Peso Specifico's Teatro Express in Modena offers monologues on landings or in gardens for donations. Milan's Collettivo Piano A launched Deliverarte, an app-based service where artists create 29x29 cm works delivered by 'Rider di Piano A' across the metropolitan area. Ravenna's DEDA Project combines art delivery with 'art leasing', displaying works in hosts' homes for a year, with open calls for its second edition until February 28, 2021. Ditta Gioco Fiaba in Milan shifted to online tutorials and webinars, also staging 'AFFACCIATI ALLA FINESTRA AMORE MIO!' in condominium courtyards. Denmark's DOO Performing Arts Group (KUNSTPARTIET) launched 'EUmergency: Artbulance on the road', a cultural ambulance touring from southern Denmark to central Europe. All projects emphasize social connection and community engagement.
