ART 2030 New York Launches During UN General Assembly
The Chelsea Art District galleries introduced the inaugural ART 2030 during the 73rd UN General Assembly session in New York, which took place from September 25 to October 1, 2018. Events kick off on September 24 with a gender equality talk featuring Mary Weatherford, Ulla Tørnæs, Cameron Saul, and Hadeel Ibrahim, moderated by Johanna Burton. On September 26, Pace Gallery will host a discussion on ocean health with John Gerrard and Alex Groves. David Zwirner will showcase Wolfgang Tillmans' exhibition on September 27, focusing on social justice and equality.
