ARoS Aarhus Art Museum Announces 2017 Triennial 'The Garden: End of Times, Beginning of Times'

ARoS Aarhus Art Museum will organize a new triennial in Aarhus, Denmark, launching in 2017. Titled 'The Garden: End of Times, Beginning of Times,' the event will stretch four kilometers along the city's coastline. The triennial will examine humanity's depiction and transformation of nature through artistic perspectives. It will be presented in two distinct parts: 'The Past' from April 8 to September 10, 2017, and 'The Present and the Future' from June 3 to July 30, 2017. This inaugural edition coincides with Aarhus being designated the European Capital of Culture for 2017. The Art Newspaper reported the announcement, noting the triennial's thematic focus on environmental representation.
