festival-fair · 2026-04-22

The Armory Show, the oldest art fair in New York, will kick off its VIP day on September 7, 2023, at the Javits Center, with public access available until September 10. This marks the third consecutive year at this location since its relocation from March in 2021. More than 225 exhibitors from approximately 30 countries are taking part, including SARAI, Dastan Gallery, Pi Artworks, and Dirimart. The event follows Frieze's acquisition of the Armory and Chicago's EXPO art fair, which was revealed in August 2023. Executive Director Nicole Berry emphasized the fair's significance in heralding the art season alongside notable museum openings. Dastan Gallery features 13 Iranian artists, while other galleries display a range of artworks. The fair will be open from September 8 to 10, 2023.
