Armin Mueller-Stahl, Valie Export, and Art Dubai Lead This Weekend's Global Art Openings
The Museum Schloss Moyland in Bedburg-Hau has launched an exhibition showcasing Armin Mueller-Stahl's creations, which include lithographs, paintings, and new paper works addressing themes of war, migration, and memory, such as 'Night on Earth – Day on Earth'. The 7th Skulpturen-Triennale Bingen, themed 'Verbindung und Zusammenhalt', features approximately 20 sculptures, including Valie Export's 'Die Doppelgängerin'. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Art Dubai returns as a 'Special Edition', with 60% of its galleries hailing from the region. The Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt focuses on freedom in 'Positionen zur Freiheit', while Sprengel Museum Hannover presents its collection as 'Mein lieber Schwan!'. Zishi Han's 'Fatal Attraction' at Kunstverein Lübeck delves into desire. Various Others in Munich runs until May 24. Concurrently, Frieze New York, Independent, and TEFAF are set to open, alongside the Serralves Foundation in Porto, which introduces 'Vexation of Spirit'.
