Arimondi Circle: New Non-Profit Home Gallery Opens in Rome's Portonaccio
In the Portonaccio district of Rome, a new non-profit home gallery named Arimondi Circle has been established by Luisa Melara, Barbara Santoro, and curator Cesare Biasini Selvaggi. Situated at Via Arimondi 3, the gallery commenced its exhibition season with "Piegare le stelle," which runs from October 11, 2022, to January 6, 2023, showcasing the work of abstract artist Cesare Berlingeri. Melara, a supporter of the arts, financed a mural by Alice Pasquini called "One City," unveiled on October 30, 2020, in honor of Ebru Timtik. The gallery originally opened in 2019 with "The best is yet to come." Looking ahead, it plans to host two annual projects, including a spring exhibition for artists under 40 and a focus on contemporary Iranian art in October 2023.
