Argentine Artist Eduardo Navarro Presents Wind-Activated Installation at Pivô in São Paulo
Eduardo Navarro, an artist from Argentina, showcases 'Predição Instantânea do Tempo' at Pivô in São Paulo, featuring 30 costumes brought to life by performers. This project, commissioned by the São Paulo cultural association and Instituto Inclusartiz, draws inspiration from the movement of wind, resulting in 'clothes-wind vanes' crafted from nylon fabric. These outfits emulate the 'eolic ballet' of wind indicators through their motion. Collaborating with dancer Zélia Monteiro, Navarro investigates how the costumes react to wind currents. The exhibition includes two planned performances and interactive public programs. Running until July 27 at Pivô – Edifício Copan, loja 54 – Avenida Ipiranga, 200, São Paulo, Navarro's work merges art with science, challenging the divide between nature and culture.
