ARF! KIDS: Rome's Comic Festival Returns with Family-Focused Events
After a year of virtual events, the ARF! Festival del Fumetto di Roma is excited to launch ARF! KIDS. This live, three-day festival for families will take place at Città dell'Altra Economia from May 21 to 23, 2021, and it’s free! Attendees can join workshops hosted by well-known children's writers and illustrators like Lorenza di Sepio, Marco Barretta, and more. There will also be three exhibitions: a look back at Gianni De Luca’s work, an interactive showcase by influencer Sio, and 'Tu-sai-chi,' featuring over thirty new Italian comic artists who are putting their spin on a famous villain. Proceeds from 'Tu-sai-chi' will support Mediterranea Saving Humans. This event leads into the Women In Comics exhibition starting May 28 at Palazzo Merulana.
