ARCOmadrid 2024 to Spotlight Caribbean Art

ARCOmadrid's 43rd edition is happening at IFEMA MADRID from March 6 to 10, 2024, specifically in halls 7 and 9. This year, the fair will feature 207 galleries from 36 different countries, focusing significantly on the Caribbean. Within the General Programme, there are 172 galleries along with three curated sections: 'the shore, the tide, the current: an oceanic Caribbean' with 19 galleries, Opening with 16 galleries, and 'Never the same. Latin American art' showcasing 12 galleries. Notably, Spanish galleries make up over 35% of the participants (73 galleries), while international ones account for more than 64% (134 galleries), with Latin America contributing 30% (40 galleries). The Forum will discuss Caribbean collecting, opening to the public at 3 p.m. on March 8 after three days for industry professionals.
