ArcoMadrid 2022 Returns in February with Reduced Galleries and Strict COVID Protocols

The Spanish art fair ArcoMadrid is set to take place from Tuesday, 23 to Sunday, 27, 2022, at Ifema's pavilions 7 and 9, marking its 40th anniversary (+1) a year later than planned. This year's event showcases 185 galleries, with 61% hailing from 30 different countries. The lineup comprises 159 galleries, including 19 in the special 40+1 anniversary section, 15 in Opening, and eight in Nunca Lo mismo, which highlights Latin American art. Curators for the 40+1 section include Maria Inés Rodríguez, Francesco Stocchi, and Sergio Rubira. Attendees must adhere to COVID protocols, including a green pass and FFP2 masks. Additional fairs such as JustMad, Art Madrid, and Urvanity will also take place, featuring various forums and corporate awards.
