Arco Releases Psychedelic Album 'Orama' on Three Labels

Multimedia artist Andrea Guerrini, known as Arco, released his second album 'Orama' on December 15, 2023, in collaboration with Ammiratore Omonimo Records, TEGA, and Pastificio Elettrico. The album is a psychedelic journey exploring life's bitterness through twelve personal stories narrated by emblematic characters, including drinking saints, fleeing travelers, mystical fools, and an abortion. It features contributions from musicians Enrico Gabrielli, Nicholas Remondino, violinist Cécile Delzant, and singer-songwriter Tobia Poltronieri. Born in Arezzo in 1988, Guerrini is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist who was a member of the bands Walden Waltz (winners of a 2012 Los Angeles Music Award) and Moondrive. He co-founded the webzine Tropismi.it and the collective Pastificio Elettrico in 2015, later moving to Turin where he created the audio story project Arconti for Radio Banda Larga and collaborated with the association Spazio Non C'è. 'Orama' blends progressive, electronic, and experimental influences reminiscent of Italian artists such as John De Leo, Iosonouncane, Cristiano Godano, early Battiato, CCCP, and Bluvertigo.
