Arco Lisboa 2018 and Must-See Exhibitions During Lisbon Art Week
Arco Lisboa's third edition will take place from May 17 to 20 at the Fábrica Nacional da Cordoaria in Belém, showcasing 68 galleries. The General Programme features 50 galleries, including Italian representatives Monitor, Doris Ghetta, Giorgio Persano, and Umberto Di Marino. Curator João Laia has selected 8 galleries for the Opening section, with Rolando Anselmi among them. This year introduces 10 special projects for the first time. During Lisbon's art week, significant exhibitions include Gary Hill's 'Linguistic Spill in the Boiler Hall' and Tomás Saraceno's 'A Thermodynamic Imaginary,' both at MAAT, as well as 'Paris Haussmann. A Model’s relevance' at Garagem Sul CCB and 'No Place Like Home' at the Museu Coleção Berardo. Additionally, the Museu de Arte Popular is hosting the inaugural Portuguese exhibition dedicated to Escher until May 27.
