Archivissima 2025: Notte degli Archivi Celebrates 10 Years in Turin

festival-fair · 2026-04-26

Turin will host the eighth edition of Archivissima, Italy's national festival dedicated to archival heritage, from June 5 to 8, 2025. This year marks a decade since the Notte degli Archivi was launched by Promemoria Group in 2016. The festival's theme is 'Dalla parte del futuro' (On the side of the future). Andrea Montorio, the CEO of Promemoria Group, emphasized the importance of the Notte since its inception in 2018. In 2024, Archivissima attracted more than 450 organizations and featured over 190 events. A school contest will produce the publication 'Un balzo del cuore. La scuola racconta un archivio', with the 2025 edition aiming to engage additional students. Participants explored archives in the Biella area, such as Lanificio Vitale Barberis Canonico, Cappellificio Cervo, and Fabbrica della Ruota.
