Archivio Concetto Pozzati Launched by Artist's Children

The Archivio Concetto Pozzati was founded by Maura and Jacopo Pozzati to honor the memory of Italian artist Concetto Pozzati, who passed away in 2017. It features a scientific committee that includes Laura Cherubini, Gianfranco Maraniello, and Giovanni Iovane. The archive originated during 'Inventario Pozzati' at Arte Fiera in Bologna and was intended to debut at miart in April 2020, but the launch was delayed due to the pandemic; however, the website became operational on May 15, 2020. The collection comprises correspondence with artists and critics, digitized historical documents, and aims to host exhibitions while reestablishing Pozzati's artistic presence. His last series, 'Vulvare' (2015-2016), focuses on vulva imagery, with many unpublished writings yet to be organized.
