Architect's Newspaper Opens 2026 Best of Products Awards for Design Submissions

The Architect's Newspaper has launched the 12th edition of its Best of Products Awards program for 2026. This annual competition recognizes outstanding design products that contribute to the built environment, encompassing interior, exterior, and landscape elements. The awards evaluate submissions based not only on aesthetic qualities but also on social and environmental impact, material innovation, and accessibility improvements. Eligible products must have been introduced to the North American market no earlier than January 2025 and remain available through December 2026. The submission process requires a brief product description of up to 200 words, technical specifications limited to 50 words, and supporting images. Categories span multiple design areas including appliances and plumbing, building materials and facades, finishes and surfaces, furnishings, hardware, lighting, openings, textiles, and technology. Winners and finalists will be featured both online and in the print publication AN's Best of 2026, which will be distributed at industry events during 2027. The early bird submission deadline is May 22, 2026, with final entries accepted through July 24, 2026. This program provides recognition for designers and manufacturers influencing contemporary design practices.
