Architect Maxime Bousquet Designs Art Deco-Inspired Luxury Apartments for Pied à Terre in Paris

architecture-design · 2026-04-21

In the 8th arrondissement of Paris, French architect Maxime Bousquet has crafted three upscale rental apartments for Pied à Terre. Situated on the fourth floor of a 19th-century structure near Place de la Madeleine, the property offers studio, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom options. Bousquet's design incorporates art deco elements and bespoke furnishings, such as lacquered silver-leaf consoles and cork coffee tables. Vintage accents, including a plaster bas-relief and a c1950 Serge Roche mirror, enhance modern features. The bathrooms are adorned with glass mosaic tiles in rich storm cloud or honey tones. Since establishing his practice in 2020, Bousquet is also completing two apartments in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Rates begin at €400 via piedaterre.fr.
