April's Art Highlights: Divola's Abandoned Sites, Claerbout's Digital Simulations, and Duchamp's Legacy

The exhibition Swimming Drunk by John Divola will be on display at Yancey Richardson in New York from 16 April to 21 May, featuring works such as Zuma (1977–8) and Daybreak (2015–2020). David Claerbout's Dark Optics is set for 27 April to 4 June at Sean Kelly, highlighting Aircraft (F.A.L.) (2015-2021) and The Close (2022). A retrospective of Marcel Duchamp is taking place at MMK in Frankfurt from 2 April to 3 October, showcasing readymades and The Large Glass (1915-1923). Elmgreen & Dragset's exhibition Useless Bodies? at Fondazione Prada in Milan runs until 22 August, exploring the body's significance in the digital era. Emii Alrai's installation at The Hepworth Wakefield, from 7 April to 28 August, draws on Iraqi heritage. Upcoming publications include Owen Hatherley's Ukrainian Postcards (£7.99) and Pajtim Statovci's Bolla (£14.99). Funa Ye will give a talk on 12 April at Hoxton Books, London.
