Aphex Twin's Psychedelic and Seizure-Risk Video for New EP 'Collapse'
Aphex Twin, whose real name is Richard D. James and who was born in 1971 in Limerick, is set to unveil a new EP called 'Collapse' on September 14 through Warp Records. A guerrilla marketing initiative has seen posters displayed in major cities such as Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, London, and Turin, accompanied by a music video created by British artist Weirdcore. Although the video for the track 'Collapse T69' failed the Harding test, which barred it from being shown on Adult Swim, it has been made available on YouTube. This video features a distorted dialogue and rapidly changing landscapes inspired by Cornwall. Additionally, Aphex Twin will take the stage at Club to Club in Turin on November 3, marking his first performance in Italy in seven years.
