Aphex Twin Returns with New EP After Five Years
Aphex Twin, the Irish electronic producer born Richard D. James, is releasing a new EP titled Blackbox Life Recorder 21F / In A Room F760 on July 28, 2023, via Warp Records. The EP, his first since 2018's Collapse, contains four tracks and runs 13.5 minutes. The lead single Blackbox Life Recorder 21F was released on June 21, 2023, accompanied by a 3D animated video by Weirdcore, his longtime collaborator. The EP is available for preorder on Warp Records' website. Additionally, Aphex Twin will embark on a European tour starting mid-July, with dates including Dour Festival in Belgium (July 12), Villafranca di Verona (July 14), London (August 19), Lisbon (August 31), and Bristol (September 2).
