Aperture 243: Photography, Urbanism, and Activism in Delhi
Aperture's Summer 2021 issue, guest edited by Rahaab Allana of the Alkazi Foundation for the Arts, examines the interplay of photography, urbanism, and activist trajectories in and around Delhi. The issue spans from O. P. Sharma's experimental 1960s works to Aditi Jain's contemporary tableaux of Delhi's trans community. It includes interviews with writer Arundhati Roy and photojournalist Shahidul Alam, and features contributions from Skye Arundhati Thomas, Jyoti Dhar, Sunil Gupta, Ishan Tankha, Anshika Varma, Uzma Mohsin, and Prarthna Singh.
