Apertura Madrid Gallery Weekend 2024 Showcases 52 Galleries with Diverse Exhibitions

The 15th Apertura Madrid Gallery Weekend showcased 52 galleries, highlighting both solo and group exhibitions from both established and emerging talents. At Galería Bat, serene landscape paintings can be found in Diego Benéitez's The Light in Your Eyes. Ehrhardt Flórez features Peppi Bottrop's Angel left / Devil right, which includes a significant abstract piece from 2024. Alzueta Gallery presents Laurent Martin Lo's Bamboo Planet, a sculpture made of bamboo suspended from the ceiling. Roger Ballen's display at Camara Oscura features striking black-and-white photographs alongside new color Polaroids. At 1 Mira Madrid, Patricia Gómez and María Jesús González's Mirror of the World exhibits photographs and mirrors from the Padre Jofré psychiatric hospital.
