Antonio Marras Recreates Carol Rama's Home for Dual Exhibition in Sardinia

Fashion designer Antonio Marras has recreated the essence of Carol Rama's home museum in a dual exhibition that spans Cagliari and Calasetta, Sardinia. This initiative, spearheaded by Pino Mantovani, the director of MACC Calasetta, and curated by Efisio Carbone, Ivana Mulatero, Roberta Vanali, and Alexandra Wetzel, received significant support from Franco Masoero, Rama's official printer, who provided much of her graphic work. The exhibition, titled 'Carol Rama_Lei, Lui, Loro,' is displayed at Exma in Cagliari (focusing on 'Lei') and MACC in Calasetta (focusing on 'Lui'). It showcases over 150 pieces that celebrate the male and female forms, organized into thematic sections. A shared area called 'Loro' features two intimate spaces designed by Marras, echoing elements of Rama's bedroom, emphasizing her diverse techniques and iconography.
