Antonio Marras Creates Limited Edition Metal Works for De Castelli Gallery Exhibition

Antonio Marras has produced a series of unique limited edition works for the exhibition LA GEOMETRIA DEL CAOS at Gallery De Castelli in Milan. The show runs from April 16 to May 31, 2026, coinciding with Milan Design Week 2026. Marras interprets metal through an intuitive approach inspired by Hephaestus, the god of fire and metallurgy, transforming chaos into beauty. The site-specific installation features gravity-defying totems, screens resembling forgotten alphabets, lamps, mirrors, and furniture that seem to breathe. Located at Via Visconti di Modrone 20, the gallery space itself becomes part of the narrative, with two large guardian figures inviting visitors across the threshold. Marras describes creating a journey that begins with prehistoric Nuragic bronzes from Sardinia and evolves through material transformation. For De Castelli, the Milan gallery represents a space where artists can utilize the company's craftsmanship as a new language to create unique pieces that exist within the slow timeframe of exhibitions. The project confirms the company's direction toward producing narrative objects that bridge art and design.
