exhibition · 2026-05-04

Antonio D'Amico has recently taken on the role of Conservator of the Art Collections at the Civic Museums of Domodossola, where he plans to emphasize research, enhance the value of the collection, and foster interactions between historical and modern art. His first exhibition, titled 'De Chirico De Pisis. La mente altrove,' is set to launch on July 14, featuring 35 pieces from private collections. This display will pair works by Giorgio de Chirico and Filippo de Pisis with 17th-century Neapolitan still lifes by Giuseppe Recco and Giovanni Battista Ruoppolo, along with a 1942 still life by Giorgio Morandi. The museums are situated in Palazzo Silva and Palazzo San Francesco. D'Amico intends to collaborate with local cultural organizations, aiming to make the museums a cultural center stretching from Brig to Milan.
