Anton Kern and Andrew Kreps Launch Temporary San Francisco Gallery with Minnesota Street Project
A new temporary art venue called Kern/Kreps is set to open at 1275 Minnesota Street in San Francisco on April 28, 2016. This pop-up gallery is the brainchild of New York gallerists Anton Kern and Andrew Kreps, who were invited by the Minnesota Street Project, founded by Deborah and Andy Rappaport, to support the local art scene. The inaugural exhibition will feature works from various artists such as Ricci Albenda, Andrea Bowers, and Hito Steyerl, among others. This launch occurs just two weeks before SFMOMA reopens. Moreover, Gagosian is planning to unveil its 16th location in San Francisco in May 2016, as noted by ARTnews in March 2016.
