Anthropic Launches Claude Connectors for Creative Software

Anthropic has released a set of connectors allowing its AI assistant Claude to integrate directly with major creative software tools, including Blender, Autodesk, Adobe, Ableton, and Splice. The connectors enable Claude to access official product documentation, automate repetitive tasks, generate scripts and plugins, and bridge workflows across design, 3D, and audio applications. New integrations include Ableton Live and Push, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere, Express, etc.), Affinity by Canva, Autodesk Fusion, Blender, Resolume Arena and Wire, SketchUp, and Splice. Claude can act as an on-demand tutor for complex software, write code for custom shaders or procedural animations, and handle batch processing. Anthropic also introduced Claude Design, a new product from Anthropic Labs for exploring software experience ideas with export to Canva. The Blender connector is officially available via MCP, and Anthropic has joined the Blender Development Fund as a patron. Additionally, Anthropic is partnering with Rhode Island School of Design (Art and Computation), Ringling College of Art and Design (Fundamentals of AI for Creatives), and Goldsmiths, University of London (MA/MFA Computational Arts) to support curricula involving creative computation, providing students and faculty access to Claude and the connectors. Theo Hourmouzis has been appointed General Manager of Australia & New Zealand, and the company has opened a Sydney office.
