Anselm Kiefer's Book-Centric Exhibition at Jan Michalski Foundation

The Jan Michalski Foundation in Montricher, Switzerland, presents 'Anselm Kiefer: Livres et xylographies', an intimate exhibition exploring the artist's relationship with books. The show features large plaster notebooks, mythological journeys, and philosophical themes across three key spaces: the exhibition hall, concert-conference hall lobby, and library. It includes large-format xylographs, unique giant books, and display cases that prevent direct contact. The accompanying catalog, curated by Natalia Granero, is a comprehensive volume on Kiefer's notebooks, designed by Urka studio (Karen Ichters) with photolithography by Datatype SA, both from Lausanne. The exhibition runs until May 12, 2019.
