Anouk Chambaz's solo exhibition at Recontemporary explores human-nature metamorphosis through video works

Swiss artist Anouk Chambaz presents three video works in her solo exhibition 'Sometimes I get goosebumps' at Recontemporary Fondazione ETS in Turin, curated by Ghëddo as part of the TO.BE IV – Intracore program. Running from April 9 to May 2, 2026, the show investigates transformative relationships between humans and nature through cinematic and poetic language. The video 'Di Notte' follows a solitary figure along the Italo-Slovenian border, using a lullaby to subvert dominant narratives of conflict. 'Marica' documents Donatella Di Cola's butterfly breeding, exploring tensions between artificial and natural control. 'Vegetation Walk' offers a performative reflection on reconnecting with nature through simple actions. An accompanying publication features texts by Allison Donahue Grimaldi, Marta Federici, and Edoardo Lazzari, published by 10documents in Rome. The exhibition emphasizes ecological, political, and sensory reflections on living beings, with a focus on feminine perspectives and metamorphic processes across body, memory, and landscape.
