Anonym Studio's Pridi41 House in Bangkok Balances Privacy and Openness
Anonym studio, based in Bangkok, has finalized the Pridi41 House, a vertically structured dwelling situated on an 800-sqm corner lot along Pridiphanomyong Road in Bangkok, Thailand. The design emphasizes privacy, natural airflow, sunlight, and thermal comfort, addressing the challenges of a densely populated area. A central core, which includes both an elevator and a staircase, facilitates movement within the home. The ground floor accommodates service areas and parking for six to eight cars. To ensure privacy and scenic views, the primary living spaces are located on the second floor. A spacious outdoor terrace and swimming pool promote ventilation and connectivity. The master bedroom is oriented eastward, while aluminum laths on the western side offer solar shading. Passive design elements help manage light and air circulation, achieving a balance between seclusion and openness.
