Anne Imhof has released an album titled 'Faust,' based on her acclaimed performance that won the Golden Lion at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017. The album spans over 80 minutes across 18 tracks, reworking audio from the live performance with new arrangements. Collaborators include Billy Bultheel, Franziska Aigner, and Eliza Douglas, who also worked on Imhof's earlier piece 'Angst' (2016) and later 'Sex' at Tate Modern and the Art Institute of Chicago. The album blends ambient sounds, voices, industrial noises, and screams across genres from classical to electronic. It is co-published by Entopia, Galerie Buchholz, and the German Pavilion, available on CD, vinyl, and Spotify. The booklet features photographs by Nadine Fraczkowski.
