ANNABAU Designs Stepped Family Home in Falkensee

architecture-design · 2026-05-17

In Falkensee, Germany, ANNABAU Architektur and Landschaft GmbH has completed a single-family home on a 1,600 m² plot. The design consists of five staggered volumes of varying dimensions, creating narrow passages and courtyard-like spaces along the east and west sides. These intermediate areas serve as a link between the house and garden, adapted to the existing trees. A terrace on the southeast connects the two south-facing volumes, extending living space into the landscape. The project, led by architect Moritz Schloten, covers 145 m² and was completed in 2022. Photographs by Christian Damman document the residence.
