Anna Foglietta directs anti-harassment PSA for Italian concerts
Anna Foglietta directed a short film called 'È come sembra,' which runs for three minutes and tackles the issue of gender-based violence. This public service announcement premiered on May 27, 2025, at the Casa del Cinema in Rome, thanks to a collaboration between AssoConcerti and the Fondazione Una Nessuna Centomila. It will be screened before every live music event throughout the summer. The film features actors like Sofia Iacuitto, Vittorio Magazzu, and Vittoria Puccini. The narrative centers on a young woman who experiences harassment at a concert, prompting her friend to stand up to the aggressor, while a bystander shouts, 'Basta!'. This project aims to change the mindset around possession and promote respect from an early age, inspired by the tragic death of 14-year-old Martina Carbonaro.
