Ankara Cemetery by void arhitektura Wins 2024 Design

The Ankara Cemetery, designed by Slovenian firm void arhitektura, was completed in 2024. The project covers 7,085 m² and was curated by Hadir Al Koshta. The design team includes Uroš Rustja, Primož Žitnik, Mina Hiršman, and Mateo Zonta, with landscaping by Studio AKKA. Photographed by Miran Kambič and Ana Skobe, the cemetery is categorized as a public building. The architecture creates a liminal transition space between the adjacent forest and the Adriatic horizon, balancing open and closed forms, light and darkness.
